Master Cleanser AKA Lemonade Diet Recipe
Here is the basic recipe for the Master Cleanse AKA Lemonade Diet. It is strongly recommended to follow this Master Cleanser Recipe exactly. It has been tried and tested over many years and perfected by Dr. Stanley Burroughs to provide the correct amount of nutrients to keep yourself strong through your fasting period.
This Lemonade Diet Recipe is for one serving only and you can make more by multiplying the number of servings you want. I recommend making enough to last you 8 hours because after that the lemonade will begin to go stale even if it’s kept cold.
You would need to mix the following ingredients together in order to make the lemonade mixture.
1. 2 tablespoons of lemon juice (or half of a squeezed lemon)
2. 2 tablespoons of organic maple syrup grade B (grade A is ok if you cannot find grade B)
3. 1/10 teaspoon of cayenne pepper powder
4. 10 oz glasses of distilled water (This is around 295ml of water)
Lemon juice – Do not to use canned or bottled lemon juice because the vitamins and nutrients are no longer as potent. It is essential for your body to absorb the lemons nutrients because this is all you are consuming for an extended period.
Maple syrup - Grade B is recommended but Grade A is ok too if you cannot locate it. Maple syrup is going to provide you with some more nutrients and also the carbohydrates your body will need.
Cayenne pepper – This is a very important ingredient. Some people decide to leave it out because they dislike the taste. Please, just suck it up and drink it, you will get used to it! It is one of the best healing herbs in the world. The cayenne pepper increases blood flow in the body, has a rich source of vitamins B & C, and boosts your immune system. I recommend you to buy the powder form of cayenne pepper.
Laxative Herb Tea: My Favorite is called Smooth Move Laxative Tea. This is to be taken every night before bed starting the night before you start your Master Cleanse.
You don’t want to drink the laxative tea together with the salt water flush because it will cause diarrhea.
Salt Water Flush Recipe
You would need to prepare a teaspoon of organic sea salt (not iodized salt) with 25 – 35 oz of warm water. Mix well and do your best to drink the solution in one go. If it is difficult to drink, use normal temperature water. The purpose of the salt water flush and the laxative tea is to help you in bowel elimination.
It is best to drink the salt water flush before drinking the lemonade in the morning as it is more effective with empty stomach.
